Bray Churches Together: This year the Service for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity in Bray will take place on Tuesday 18th January in ‘The Well’ at 8.00p.m. (formerly St. Paul’s opposite the Royal Hotel). Guest speaker: Fr. Kieran O’Mahony OSA. Ten of the Worshipping Communities in Bray will be taking part in the service. Accord Annual Collection: The Diocesan Agency for Marriage and the Family, will be made at all Masses on the weekend of 12th and 13th February 2011. The Collection for ACCORD will replace the usual Share Collection. ACCORD Dublin throughout the diocese offers:

  • Marriage Preparation Courses
  • Counselling for couples and individuals experiencing difficulties in their relationships.
  • Marital Sexual Therapy.
  • A Relationship and Sexuality Programme in Schools.

50th Anniversary of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Church, Sean McDermott Street: Events throughout 2011 to mark the anniversary of the Church:

Friday 11th of February at 7pm: 50th Anniversary Mass led by Archbishop Martin (Music by our Parish Choirs and the Garda Band.

Sunday 12th of June at 11am: Pentecost Sunday- Commemoration of the conferral of sacraments

September 2011: “Youthfest”- Celebration with young people in the parish.

Wednesday 9th November 7.30pm: Mass of Remembrance for people who have died in parish over the past 50 years.

“Prayer for Christian Unity” is organized by the Legion of Mary for Saturday next 22nd January in Catholic University Church, St Stephens Green, Dublin 2 commencing at 2pm. All are welcome.

Scripture Weekend: January 28-30, in Orlagh Retreat Centre led by Kieran O’Mahony. Under the title Our hearts are restless, Kieran will explore the spiritual quest in John’s Gospel.
