Follow up course for Readers: Follow Up Course for Readers will take place on the following Mondays, 14th March, 21st March, 28th March & 4th April at 8.00 p.m. in Clonliffe College. Topics covered will include the readings of the Easter Triduum and the Gospel of Matthew. This course is open to those who attended the previous readers course and also new readers. Milltown Institute Dublin: 6th to 9th April 2011 “Broken Faith- Re-visioning the Church in Ireland” The publication of the Ryan and Murphy Reports in 2009 has been the catalyst for much soul-searching by members of the Catholic faith community in Ireland. There are a number of issues that now require the faith community to examine itself in order to see how best it can continue to serve society and carry out its mission to the world in a way that contributes to the common good. School Arts Competition Exhibition: The Office of Evangelisation will host an exhibition of winning entries of the Schools Art Competition on the Gospel of Luke. It will take place on Sunday, University Church, St. Stephen’s Green at the 11:00 mass. Overall winners will be awarded prizes. Entries were received from many of the schools throughout the Archdiocese. All entries will be on display for two weeks from Sunday 27th February. Palmerstown Lenten Reflections: St Philomena’s Parish, Palmerstown will host five evenings of reflection on aspects of Social Justice to guide us on our Lenten Journey. Vocations Information Day: Have you been thinking about a religious vocation? The Presentation Brothers are hosting an “Information Day” for men aged 18-40 in Dublin on Saturday 5th March 2011 and in Cork on Saturday 12th March 2011. It’s an opportunity to meet a Brother and ask questions about what is involved in becoming a member of a religious order. The Information day begins at 11.00am and finishes after lunch at about 2.30pm. The event is free of charge and is without obligation. An Invitation to hear Dr. James Fleming: Insights into the Life of the Shepherd in Biblical Israel.
