An Evening of Music by Flemish Composer Flor Peeters, takes place in the Pro Cathedral Sunday 20th February at 8.00pm. He will be accompanied by the Palestrina Choir directed by Bláinaid Murphy. Terenure Parish Pilgrimage in the Footsteps of St. Paul: A 10 day journey in the Footsteps of St. Paul; Sept 6th to September 15th 2011. A three-part journey visiting Athens, Corinth, Ephesus, Patmos, Philippi and Thessalonika. A 3 day cruise on the Aegean Sea will include visits to islands of Crete and Santorini. Reminder: Diocesan Conference to celebrate the 19th World Day of the Sick in the Dublin Diocese. Theme: “The Care of Deaf People in Times of Sickness.”
Saturday 5th February 2011:
The National Chaplaincy for Deaf People in collaboration with the Dublin Diocese Committee for World Day of the Sick have invited individuals from various organisations involved with the Deaf Community such as, to present a program which communicates the experience of Deaf People as they encounter illness in their lives. The conference will provide an opportunity to help understand the importance of communication with Deaf People and is aimed at all medical professionals, care-givers, hospital chaplains as well as members of the Deaf Community and is meant to enlighten, encourage and support those who attend. The conference takes place in Purcell House in All Hallows College. Registration takes place at 9am and is free, lunch is provided and the conferences end at 4pm.
