Festival of the Peoples. Our annual celebration with those who have come to live among us from other countries is on the Vigil of Pentecost - Saturday 11 June at 6.00p.m. in St. Mary’s Pro-Cathedral.

Our Lady of Victories, Ballymun Road: This Sunday 5th June the Gospel Mass at 6.30 p.m. is a special “Exam Mass” in which we will pray for and remember those students sitting their Junior and Leaving Cert Exams. All are well especially those sitting exams and their families.

Church of the Sacred Heart, Yellow Walls, Malahide, Co. Dublin: EXAM MASS on Saturday the 4th June at 6.30 pm. For all students doing the Leaving Cert and the Junior Cert.

ARC Cancer Support is a voluntary organisation which offers free, professional support to men and women affected by cancer and those who care for them. Can you volunteer your time to help with once off/regular fundraising activities such as database maintenance, planning of events, obtaining sponsors, etc? Pentecost Walk of Hope: On Saturday 11th June, four churches in the Mulhuddart/Tyrrelstown/Hollystown area of Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 will come together for a special ‘Pentecost Walk of Hope’. The 5 km community walk will visit each of the four churches that are organising the event:
- 2:00pm: St Luke the Evangelist Church, Mulhuddart (Roman Catholic)
- 3:00pm: Blanchardstown Methodist Church in Tyrrelstown Educate Together School
- 4:00pm: Kingdom Connections, Blanchardstown Corporate Park (Redeemed Christian Church of God) - 5:00pm: St Thomas’ Church, Hollystown (Church of Ireland)
- 6:00pm: A free bus will be available to bring people back to Tyrrelstown or to their car in St Luke the Evangelist, Mulhuddart, if they wish to park there.

Garda Vetting Office of the Dublin Diocese: The Garda Vetting Policy and Procedures have been reviewed and the latest version of the document is now available on the diocesan website. In addition, following feedback from parishes and other users, some changes have been made to the application form which can now be filled out online and printed off at www.dublindiocese.ie

Knock Summer Festival 2011: This years Knock Summer Festival 2011 takes place the 24th-26th of June. The festival is a three day event and is for all people between the ages of 18-35. Over the weekend we will have: Inspiring talks, Creative workshops, vibrant music, a chance to meet new people, prayer, reflection, reconciliation, chill out time, open mic nights, football, hip hop dancing, clay and pottery, art, drumming, a huge gathering to celebrate the Eucharist and loads more… This weekend is not your typical Friday/Saturday night, it is something more, something real and something that will hopefully help you along with your journey. Church of the Nativity of Our Lord, Beaumont: Corpus Christi Tridium:
Thursday June 23rd: Diocesan Corpus Christi procession in the Grounds of Clonliffe College beginning at 7.30pm at which all parishes are represented by as many parishioners as possible. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. For those who cannot attend the Diocesan Procession: Holy Hour before the Blessed Sacrament beginning at 7.30pm with a Scriptural Reflection on the Mysteries of the Light. Led by Conor McCann.
Friday June 24th: Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from after 10am Mass to conclude with 7.30pm Mass. Presider: Fr. Michael Carey. Music by the Parish Choir.
Saturday June 25th: 10am Mass followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament for one hour
Sunday June 26th: Feast of Corpus Christi. Solemn Blessing of the Parish Candle for the International Eucharistic Congress at each Mass on Sunday morning

ORLAGH RETREAT CENTRE:
Saturday, June 11, 2011: You are invited to join us for a PENTECOST VIGIL on Saturday, June 11th from 7.00pm to 11.00pm in Orlagh Retreat Centre. June 20-24 2011: The annual ORLAGH BIBLE WEEK takes place from Monday, June 20th (10.00 am) to Friday June 24th (2.00pm). The theme this year is SOURCES OF HOPE, something we all need at this time. The speakers and their topics are as follows:

Seamus O’Connell: Narrating the discovery of hope: the Synoptic Gospels
Kieran O’Mahony: The Spirit helps us in our weakness: St Paul and the Holy Spirit.

Pro Cathedral singing workshop: The Pro Cathedral singing workshop for children takes place from Monday 15th August to Friday 19th August (1.30pm to 4.30pm) For 8-15 year old boys and girls; The course is run by Blanaid Murphy, director of the Palestrina Choir and St. Mary’s Pro Cathedral Choir with Darren Magee course assistant and organ scholar at the pro cathedral. Participants sing in groups and small ensembles, explore the world of song, develop a good choral technique have fun with others and experience a variety of singing styles, gospel, spiritual and traditional repertoire. On Saturday afternoon 20th August participants in the workshop sing in the 6pm mass in the Pro Cathedral. Fee for the workshop is €100. Further details 8745441. Limited places available.
