Mary Immaculate Refuge of Sinners, Rathmines: is holding a Week of Prayer which takes place on Saturday 15th to Friday 21st October. The theme for the week is “Wanting to Believe, Daring to Belong”. The Week of Prayer is an invitation to personal and parish renewal of faith and Christian life and will be led by Capuchin friars Fr. Terrence Harrington and Fr. Sean O’ Donoghue. A talk and celebration of music and word will take place at 7.30pm each evening in the Church. Please join with us this week by either remembering us in your prayers or come along and support this special week of prayer.
Living with Bereavement: Fr Bryan Nolan will present an evening of reflection for all involved in Parish Funeral Ministry on Tuesday 18th October at 7.30pm in St Martin de Porres Parish Church. The evening will provide an opportunity to reflect on how best to support the needs of all engaged in care of the sick and dying. Workshop on the Glendalough Mass: In preparation for the new Missal composers all over the world have been working on new Mass settings and revising some previously written ones. Fr Liam Lawton has been commissioned to compose a new Mass setting called The Glendalough Mass. It can be sung in a unison choir or arranged for soprano, alto and bass or men and should be very helpful to choirs in Ireland. The workshop takes place on Tuesday 8th November at 7.30pm in Holy Rossary Church, Bohernabreena parish. St. John the Evangelist Church Ballinteer: are holding a festival of music & song on Saturday 22nd October at 8pm.
