Pastor's Desk: 32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time

Posted 5th November 2011 in Pastor's Desk

It is with a deep sense of sadness that I write these few words. Over the last four years I have being very proud to call Holy Trinity Parish my home. Indeed from the very start 15th August 2007 I felt welcomed and immediately part of the community, a great testimony to the warmth and hospitality which is an integral part of our community here in Holy Trinity.

I am very appreciative of the support of your generosity and prayers during my time with you. It did not and has not gone unnoticed. I hope into the future that we will continue to remember each other in prayer.

Now is a time to say ‘THANK YOU’ and I want to echo that from the very bottom of my heart, to you our parishioners, the various parish groupings I was involved in, with particular thanks going to the Family Mass Team.

My last words of thanks are for the ‘Parish Team’, Fr. Eoin, Sr. Margaret, Sr. Mary, Clare and Tamine. Without question we have worked well together over the last four years and I want to express my deep thanks and gratitude to each of them individually and collectively as a group for allowing me to be part of such a good and positive experience of parish ministry.

So let’s keep praying for each other and for the last time UP THE POOL!

May God continue to bless you all.
Fr. Gary
