Confirmation Programme

In our multicultural school environment, it cannot be taken for granted that every child is eligible (was Baptised into the Roman Catholic tradition) or wishes to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.

If you wish your child to participate and receive the Sacrament of Confirmation please complete the Registration Form at the link below.  We have enhanced our systems to support the delivery of the registration form, baptism certificate and registration fee to be 100% online, eliminating any risk for those involved in face-to-face contact and handling paper.  However, as always we are here to support any parents who do not have access to the internet, an electronic device or printer and you can call in to the Parish Office where Noreen or Tamine will be happy to assist you in this regard.

As you are very aware the Covid-19 pandemic has created a new set of restrictions to all our plans, both immediate and in the future. These day-to-day challenges have also impacted on our ability to plan our sacramental programmes, including the actual dates for our Confirmation ceremonies in 2021.

We are currently in Level 3, the church is closed, and daily Mass is restricted to live stream only.  Level 2 permits a maximum of 50 people in the church. As a result of these limits it is not possible to proceed with the usual “You shall be my Witness” Masses for now.  However, we have organised a schedule of Family Masses at 11:30am tailored to families with children due to receive the sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation which will be live streamed on holytrinityparish.ie/live as follows:

1) Sunday 18th October

2) Sunday 8th November

3) Sunday 22nd November

4) Sunday 20th December

Even with all this uncertainty it is especially important that you register with us immediately so we can keep you updated with any changes which will allow us to proceed in a limited way.

Confirmation Registration Form

I look forward to receiving your completed registration form and wish you and your family every blessing as you journey together towards this special day for you all.
